ScrumWall
To improve our own development process, we created a virtual project-collaboration application using Microsoft Silverlight. When ScrumWall drew great interest from customers, we used Windows Azure to offer it as a hosted service. The solution made it possible for us to bring a new product to market quickly, with minimal investment costs, while offering superior performance to users.
We were challenged by the fact that information on the project wall was difficult to share with remote team members.
We developed ScrumWall, which uses the Microsoft Silverlight browser plug-in to create a virtual project wall with notes that can be manipulated on-screen. Changes are immediately visible on all users’ screens, so progress can be updated and followed in real time. The application was a success within the company and also garnered interest from our customers.
