Dot Net is a leading Gold certified Microsoft partner specialising in delivering advanced development projects using cutting edge technologies. We have established a reputation as one of the leading .NET development partners in the UK. We are currently focusing a lot of effort on Visualisation with the Microsoft technologies, driving adoption of Microsoft’s new Silverlight technologies.

We are actively seeking an enthusiastic individual to strengthen our sales team. This role will report directly to the VP Sales. The role will be split 50/50 between general solution sales and management of business opportunities with and through the Microsoft business.

You will be expected to gain an understanding of Microsoft’s range of .NET technologies, the benefits they offer and how they are applied to create business solutions. You will liaise with the Dot Net consultants to qualify and estimate the scope of potential projects and evaluate where resources are applied to win appropriate project business.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Relationship Management:
Become the trusted partner of clients by building strong, open working relationships at as many levels as relevant

Key Contact:
From both the Customer and Dot Net’s perspectives, take the position of account owner.

Revenue & Profit Maximisation:
Ensure projects are optimised from a profitability/margin perspective.

Account Planning & Forecasting:
Create and maintain account plans (format to be specified with the VP Sales) for accounts and provide a rolling forecast of revenue anticipated from each client.

Resourcing:
Liaise with relevant staff regarding up-coming projects to enable effective resource planning.

Interpret Client Drivers:
For each account understand the client’s key goals and business drivers, enabling strategic debate with the client and delivery of solutions that best meet the business requirements.

Pre- sales Contribution:
Work to create and deliver professional pitches taking the lead where appropriate.
